The Chateau's main building

Château Les Carrasses in the Languedoc region of southern France has just recently finished harvesting its first vintage since 1988- when the chateau fell into disrepair.

After an extensive restoration however the Chateau is not only producing wine again but has transformed the 19th Century property into a luxury self-catering property.

There are 28 suites, apartments and villas all dressed in period French furnishing and offering stunning views over the French countryside. Each room is air conditioned and comes with Wi-Fi, TV/DVD, iPod and a fully equipped kitchen as standard. Many of the larger rooms offer a private terrace with BBQ, its own small garden or even your own private pool.

Enjoy the Chateau's Pool

In addition to the wine estate and tasting rooms guests can also enjoy the tennis courts or the Infinity Pool and relaxation deck. There is also a small café, bar and brasserie in the property and even picnic baskets, in room catering or even a private chef can be arranged for those who don’t wish to self-cater.

Rooms sleep from two to eight people and prices range from €150 per night for a basic room for two in the main chateau, to €317 a night for a three bedroom lodging with its own pool or hot tub, situated next to the winery.
